Unter dem Titel Kissaten Vienna untersucht die Künstlerin Rebecca Merlić die sozio-kulturelle Bedeutung der Kaffeehauskultur in Japan und Wien. Das immersive Games-Projekt dokumentiert sowohl die Architektur als auch die Akteure innerhalb jener traditionellen Orte des Zusammenkommens, die allmählich aus dem Stadtgefügen zu verschwinden drohen, und schafft einen digitalen Raum für die Begegnung zweier Kulturen.
Titled Kissaten Vienna, the artist Rebecca Merlić explores the socio-cultural importance of café culture/coffeehouse culture in Japan and Vienna.
